The license you require depends on the number of resources in your application that you wish to translate, and the number of languages you will be translating into.
The total number of translations is given by:
Total Translations = Translation Resources x Languages
When you scan Globalizer automatically calculates this for you and displayes it in the status bar. This allows you to easily determine which license you will require. The license limits the number of translations that can be entered for a single workspace as follows:
- Basic - up to 1000 translations (suitable for smaller projects translated into a few languages)
- Standard - up to 5000 translations (suitable for larger projects translated into a few languages or a smaller project translated into many languages)
- Pro - unlimited translations
The data displayed in the status bar is color coded to let you know if you are nearing the limits of your license. Fortunately Infralution makes it easy to upgrade your license should your project grow.
Note that if you only want to translate text resources then you can change the Workspace Filters so that only text resources are scanned (and then remove unused translations). This can substantially reduce the number of translations in the Workspace. _________________ Infralution Support |
