Hi

I am testing you licensing product, and so far I like what I see, however, I am trying to license my product based on some hardware ID and using that ID as the Product Info when generating the Key.

Now When I generate the ID via my App I get and ID surrounded by {} which I strip off and use the remaining string.

When I use sLicense.ProductInfo it returns the correct ID but adds 2 more characters which are �K, therefore causing my validation to fail.

Any help appreciated.

OK, I think I may have solved it.

I had checked the Include Product Info Checksum and this caused the problem.

Having noted the very long tooltip text it appears that I don't need to do this, and still get the product info in the key.

Any further thoughts would be appreciated.

As long as your ProductInfo is less than 7 characters long then there is no need to check the Included Product Info Checksum option. Leaving the option off will give you shorter license keys. If you do change this option you must regenerate the License Parameters that you include in your application code.
