I used your CustomLicenseApp as a template for my own. Am I correct in assuming that all that gets stored in the license file (that isn't used in that example) is the license key that I sent to the customer?
Storing that somewhere other than in a file by itself is OK, right? _________________ --

The CustomLicensedApp sample handles saving/loading the license key itself (as part of an XML file containing other data). So it doesn't use the EncryptedLicenseProvider methods that save the key to a file. If you use these methods then the only thing the file will contain is the license key.

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. If you handle the saving/loading of the key yourself (as the CustomLicensedApp does) then you can save the key whereever you want (the registry for instance or in a database) _________________ Infralution Support |
