One question:
Why you don't need LICENSE_PARAMETERS when generating a new key in your example?

Then on validation you add the following statement:
EncryptedLicenseProvider.SetParameters(LICENSE_PARAMETERS);

I always thought LICENSE_PARAMETERS are one part of key generating AND validating.

Then again, after experimenting with this code and watching '_systemParameters' in debugger of static and own variable of EncryptedLicenseProvider they differ.

Can you please enlighten me.

The License Parameters include a public key signature of your product password. This allows us to verify that license keys generated us are in fact from you the publisher. This mechanism allows you to embed the (very long) public signature in your code and so keep actual license keys themselves relatively short.
