Hi,
If possible, I would very much like the following features in virtual tree controls:
1. The ability to colour the foreground for individual cells. At this moment it is only possible to set different colours for odd and even rows (?), but sometimes it is very useful to use different foreground colours for different types of representations of nodes in a model. For instance, the application I am curerently working on dispalyes a model that consists of a tree of commands that contains parameters, options and other stuff. These all represented by nodes in the virtual tree, but different foreground colours would make it more intuitive to the user.
2. tooltips at the level of individual cells. This also allows us to provide additional information to the user.
Thank you,

You can already set the foreground color (as well as all other style attributes) for individual cells. You can do this by setting the appropriate Style properties in the CellBindings (if using Object or Dataset binding) or you can handle the GetCellData event/method to set the style programmatically. Generally it is much easier to use the Row/Cell Bindings for this sort of visual stuff.
We have cell tooltips on our todo list. _________________ Infralution Support |

Version 2.0.0 has just been released. Cell tooltips are now automatically displayed if the text for a cell is truncated. You can also set the tooltip to display for an individual cell using the CellBinding.ToolTip property _________________ Infralution Support |
