I get the following error when testing an application with a 30 day evaluation period license, after the 30 day period has expired and the user attempts to enter the license key:
"An error occurred while installing the license. Ensure you have sufficient privileges to install the license."
Any idea what is causing this? |

By default (if you don't specify a full path) the license file is installed and read from the same directory as the application executable. If you install your application in the Program Files directory then typically Xp Limited users don't have permission to write to this directory.
If you want limited users to be able to install license keys for your application then you will need to provide a full path to a location where the user does have permissions to write ie the users Application Data directory or the Shared Application data directory. _________________ Infralution Support |

Thanks - I found another reason why this was happening: My application used Microsoft Visual Source Safe at one stage which made all files in the \bin directory readonly. |
