I just tried to install the latest version of Visual Tree on a clean Vista Feb CTP with VS 2005 installed, but it fails to complete the installer.

I get the following (after the files have been copied): There is a problem with the Windows Installer Package. A program required to complete could not be run. Contact.....

I presume that this is the hxupd... exe that is used to merge the help files, but that is of course just a guess.

Any help would very much be appreciated as I am on a very tight deadline.

To answer my own question:

You have to change account settings as described here:

Of course this is just a workaround.
