I copied all the files of my application to my new laptop. They open in Visual Studio normally, but they don't compile. VS is complaining about the strong name signature of all the assemblies. I think it has to do with the missing private key, which is located in the old computer (this is the purpose of the signature, isn't it?).
What is the correct way to fix this? For example, if my old computer crashed, how could I find the private key. In my case fortunately the old computer is working, but I just don't know how to proceed. Please advise. Thank you. |

What projects are you compiling? What exactly are the error messages?
Are you using .NET Encryptor? I'm not quite sure what this has to do with Licensing? _________________ Infralution Support |

Sorry, the strong name file was password protected, that's why VS couldn't read it. Now it's working. |
