The Windows service has been installed successfully.
To install the license, the instructions say "From your Administrator command prompt run SampleLicenseService.exe /L". My question is, do you need to go to a specific folder in order to run it? If so, where is this file located? Thank you. |

You need to run this from the directory where the SampleLicenseService.exe is located. If you are just trying the sample code then this is under the following directory:
Code: | C:\Program Files (x86)\Infralution\Licensing System 6\Samples\VS2010-2017\C#\SampleLicenseService\bin\Debug

I created a shortcut in the standard Windows Start menu which runs this command. It has worked fine for several years, but now I have a customer trying to install the floating license in Windows Server 2012 R2 operating system, so there is not a standard “Start Menu” with “All Programs” to navigate to.
In the absence of the Start menu, is there a way to automate this installation command in this case? I would like to avoid the manual installation at the customer end. Thank you. |

As Microsoft have made the Programs menu almost unusable in Windows 10 you could resort to creating a shortcut on the desktop from your installer _________________ Infralution Support |
