Hi,

The License Tracker is a great tool, and one which I use constantly.

There are a couple of wish-list type items that I would find useful.

1. It would be nice if I could manually generate a key and still associate that key with a customer. Right now there is no way to associate a key with a customer other than by generating a sale.

2. Along the same line, it would be nice to be able to associate an existing key with a customer.

3. It would be really cool to work with dual databases (local Access and online SQL server). When a connection was available to the SQL server, updates would go to both DBs. When working locally, the local database would get updates and then these would be later synced to the sql server (I know, this is getting wild, but it would be handy Smile

You can generate a license key manually now. To associate it with a customer you could do one of two things. One is to just add a dummy sale manually. You can add a comment to indicate that it is not a real sale. If you want to treat this customer some how differently to other sale customers then this would not be a great solution. You can also just add a comment on the actual license key indicating which customer it is for. If you create a separate distributor for generating these keys (eg "Self") then these keys don't get mixed up with others. One previous suggestion we have had is to allow license keys to be associated with evaluations - would this option help you?

This is probably a little over-engineered for how the majority of our customers use license tracker. You can use SQL server with license tracker now - but not the online/offline model you suggest here.
