There're 2 types of context menus: ContextMenu and ContextMenuStrip. VirtualTree supports both. But there's an event for only one of them: GetContextMenu. Is there an event where I can pass ContextMenuStrip object to the tree?
Thanks! |

ContextMenuStrips are only available in .NET 2.0. Currently VirtualTree does not support setting the ContextMenuStrip for individual rows (as it does for ContextMenu via the GetContextMenu event). This is partly because of our desire to allow Virtual Tree to run on both .NET 1.1 and .NET 2.0. We could look at modifying the GetContextMenu event to allow you to specify either a ContextMenu or a ContextMenuStrip if this is what you would like. _________________ Infralution Support |

Yes, That's what we would like. It would be great if you added that possibility.
Thanks! |

We've had a good look at this. The only good way of doing this is to produce a separate VS2005 only version of Virtual Tree. This is obviously a lot of work because it means duplicating code, documentation, setup and testing. If we were to go down this route it would probably mean that the VS2003 version would have to go into maintenance mode (no major upgrades). Before we do this we would like to find out what our existing customer base wants. _________________ Infralution Support |
