Dear Sir/Madam,

During the launch of any application the bootstrap allow only to SplashForm as an image. Is it possible to add some information on this SplashForm e.g tool name, version number, date and so on.
We are using VB.Net to build different application.

Private Sub New()
InitializeComponent()

_bitmap = New Bitmap(BackgroundImage)
_hBitmap = _bitmap.GetHbitmap(Color.FromArgb(0))

End Sub

Regards,
vhaxha

The bootstrap project includes the source code for the SplashForm - so you can make any changes you want. The default implementation displays a transparent bitmap that fades in and out by using Layered Windows. If you turn off the layered windows by commenting out the CreateParams override method then any labels or other control you put on the SplashForm will be shown (however the window will no longer be transparent or fade in).

If you want to keep the transparent fade in bitmap AND display runtime generated information then you may be able to achieve this by drawing the data to the bitmap GraphicsContext in the SplashForm constructor.
