Currently when a product has custom authentication data generator defined, authentication data cannot be manually configured per license.
Some option (or a new menu item) for manual configuration would be extremely useful as the only way to do so is to remove the authentication data generator from the product , manually change the data and configure the product again to use the generator. |

Normally when you define a custom generator that sets authentication data you should also handle updating the authentication data by implementing the ICustomGenerator.UpdateAuthenticationData method and returning true for ICustomGenerator.SupportsUpdateAuthenticationData. Your custom generator should then read the existing authentication data from the CustomGeneratorData.AuthenticationData and provide a user interface to allow the user to change it. Will this mechanism not meet your needs? _________________ Infralution Support |
