I've been using ILS for over a year on my laptop, which is my development machine. The License Tracker program has been residing on my laptop up until now. We are using only Encrypted licenses, not authenticated. We are using ILS version 5.10.2.
At this point, I want to move the License Tracker program to our server, so that our order processing department can generate the licenses without having to involve me.
I have installed the License Tracker on the server, but I'm not quite sure how to get the data over there. I don't quite remember how I set it up initially, but I cannot find a license.MDB file on my laptop (the C:\ProgramData\Infralution\ILS folder exists, but is empty), so I believe that I must have set it up to use SQL Server. When I run the configuration wizard on my laptop, the default is showing SQL Server, and it shows the local machine name as the server, and a database name of "License".
What are the steps that I need to go through to move the database to the new machine? I'm not very experienced with SQL Server administration.
Thanks,
Joe |
