How does CustomGenerator know that request is for Eval?

How does my CustomGenerator know that the current request for a license key came from "New Evaluation", in which case Expiry Date needs to be added, or from "New License Key", in which case we don't want an expiration?

I think I figured this out. I should look at the "sale" data (if not null) and check "Evaluation".
