Hello,
I'm using Xamarin.Mac to implement a licensing component for an Infralution customer.
We're not using a Microsoft JET or SQL Server/CE database in the application itself.
Is there a how to or set of practices for integrating Infralution with a C# project targeted for Mac using Xamarin?
Thanks,
Will |

This is not something we have actually done. If Xamarin.Mac is using a variant of Mono and supports Windows Forms then it should probably work just by referencing the Infralution.Licensing.Forms assembly (since the assembly is pure .NET and does not use any windows specific code). If you want to use the cross platform Xamarin.Forms library for the user interface then you would need to write your own version of the AuthenticationLicenseInstallForm and EvaluationDialog using Xamarin Forms. These are fairly lightweight classes that just call the underlying AuthenticatedLicenseProvider and EvaluationMonitor classes to do most of the heavy lifting. When you purchase ILS we provide full source code for the Infralution.Licensing.Forms library so this should make doing this easier.
We're happy to assist you in any way we can in doing this. _________________ Infralution Support |
