Hi
The "Configuring your Paypal Account" section of the IPN help file says..
"...
Click the Edit button then tick the checkbox and enter the URL where your IPN.NET server is installed (eg http://www.mycompany.com/live/default.aspx). Any payments made to your business account should now result in the transaction details being posted to your IPN.NET Server.
...."
But surely then if somebody buys something else from me (ie I sell my favourite old leather arm chair) then also that notifies Tracker and presumably errors because I don't have a product for that?
Shouldn't I instead setup just on the products I want using the notify_url custom action?

IPN.NET only handles specific transactions that are generated by sales through shopping carts. If someone pays for your favourite arm chair via PayPay this will be a Send Money transaction and will be ignored. It is probably a good idea however to have a separate PayPal account for business and personal use. _________________ Infralution Support |
