Hi
I want to be able to allow my user to user my App on up to 3 PC's (like the AV apps do for example).
Should I have 3 keys and if so can IPN be configured to send out 3 when a purchase is made in PayPal.
or....
Should I have one key that can be used 3 times; assuming here I would set "Max Authentications" to 3? If I did this what would be a typical "Max Deauthentications" settings be...6? |

You can do either. If you want to sell a package of licenses at a discounted price then you can create a Variant Product (with its own IPN item number) and set the Package Quantity in the IPN.NET tab. IPN will then issue that number of license keys when that item number is sold.
An alternative is to set the Max Authentications. In this case a Max Deauthentication of 6 is probably an appropriate default - this would allow the customer the same number of license transfers as if they had bought 3 individual licenses with the default value of 2.
