It would be very nice, if you would support the mono framework to.
Because with the implementation of the win forms for mono (managed forms) is it possible to build plattform independent applications by using the powerfull Visual Studio IDE.

VirtualTree on Mac/Linux Very Happy

Porting the source code to Mono should be fairly straightforward as we only use API calls to support XpThemes (and this code detects whether the APIs are present) and to work around a .NET GDI+ bug related to clipping.

The main issue with porting to mono would be which binary distributions of Linux to support.

At the moment we probably don't have the customer demand to justify doing this - but we would be more than happy to provide full support to any customers who purchased source code and wish to undertake the port.

Anyone else interested in a mono port?

The applications runs in the mono framework are independent from the binary distribution of Linux and from the platform to. You can run your applications on Win, Linux and Mac without recompiling. With a little bit forethought the application run in mono in the same way like .net.
There is no double work for binary distribution of Linux and/or platform's where the mono framework is available.

If you would support the mono framework then could run an application with a VirtualTree on Win(mono or .net), Linux, Mac without recompiling. Very Happy
