|
|
Dear,
I used the UniversalEditbox as a CellEditor for a particular column in the design time. In the run time when i edit the column a dropdown list appears (fine) to select a new value, but the cell value never changed to take the new value.
What have i do to make my selection reflects immdiatly the current cell?
Is there is any code or property i missed?
Thanks |

What type of data binding are you using (Object, DataSet or programmatic)?
If you are using Object or DataSet binding then the underlying datasource should be automatically updated (by default when the the user moves the focus from that cell). If you are using programmatic binding then you need to handle the SetCellValue event/method to set the value in your data source.
You can change the CellEditor.UpdateValueEvent property (in the Virtual Tree editor) to the ValueChanged event (by default the Validated event used) if you want the cell value to be changed immediately the user selects a value from the dropdown. _________________ Infralution Support |

Dear,
Yes I use dataset, setting the CellEditor.UpdateValueEvent property to the valueChanged solves the problem. Thanks for your assitance, I am really happy of buying and using the virtualtree control.
what is the best way to download the virtualtree new release?
Thanks again & Best Regards |
