Hello,

I just started working with ILS and everything works exactly as I'd hoped, thanks.

Now for my question, is there a way to uninstall a license?

I entered an invalid license as a test. After doing so everytime I tried to drop the component I licensed on the form I'd get an invalid license. Because of the way I was doing some additional checks I finally figured out that I'll I needed to do was ask for the license again so I changed some logic and it worked.

The reason I'm asking is that I don't want to license the component when it gets dropped on the form (well I'll use it as a backup) but rather accept the license information in my installation. When an uninstall is done I would like to remove the license information.

Thanks,

Rick

To remove the license simply delete the ".lic" file that is placed in the bin directory of your component or executable. Normally you don't remove the license when the product is uninstalled as this will typically mean that the user will have to reinstall the key when installing upgrades (which automatically uninstall the previous version)
