Hi,
When Globalizer starts it looks like it creates shadow copy of an application. But there is no more reflection to actual state of an application development. You have to restart Globalizer to get actual state again. Is there any way how to solve this?

Thanks,

VS2012 Prof, WPF project, Win 7 64bit

Use the File > Save and Reopen function in Globalizer. This will reload Globalizer (using the latest compiled application assemblies) and maintain the same selection state - so the that if you are previewing a form or window this same preview will be reopened automatically.

Hi,
your solution is functional but not ideal. Would it be possible to have following function on next release?:
Solution based on FileSystemWatcher class which would monitor output folder of built project, replacing shadow copy and reloads preview if necessary?

Thanks a lot

The only way to unload assemblies (and so reload them) is to load them in a separate domain that you can then unload. Unfortunately for various technical reasons loading the preview assemblies into a separate assembly is not an option. So the only way to reload the preview assemblies is to restart the Globalizer application.

Hi,
I googled some interesting articles on this topic and it seems you are right. But still it can be done by some effort and if there will be any kind of voting for new features, I would vote for it, because this would be huge help.

Thanks
