I translated my application and it works in Globalizer when I use the Start Application->Select Language. I have 5 languages and they all work. I can also select the language using the menu technique in my app (as in the Globalizer demo en/fr app). I can also run the application within Visual Studio 2008 debug mode and it works fine there too.
But when I build and install an msi file and run it the language does not change when I select from the menu. Also, when I build the Globalizer demo application that menu doesn't work either. Am I missing something basic?

Sounds like you aren't including the directories containing the culture resource assemblies in your MSI. These directories need to be deployed in the under the directory containing your executable. For instance if your exe is Main.exe and you have French translations then the deployed directory containing your Main.exe should have a directory called "fr" with an assembly called Main.resources.dll in it (which contains the resources). _________________ Infralution Support |
