An ability to just load an encrypted assembly into current domain would pave the way to a windows service bootstrap. |

Thanks for the suggestion. We are considering adding a LoadAssemblyFrom method to allow an encrypted assemblies to be loaded dynamically. The assembly would need to be encrypted using the calling assemblies strong name to ensure this could not be used by decryptors to load and dump the assembly. For this to be of use for a windows service your main (bootstrap) assembly would still have to implement the service entry points. These could then call methods on the encrypted assembly using reflection (since you could not actually have a reference to the encrypted assembly in the bootstrap). _________________ Infralution Support |

Version 2.1.0 of .NET Encryptor has now been released and includes an new LoadAssemblyFromFile method that allows you to load encrypted assemblies from file rather than from resource. _________________ Infralution Support |
