|
|
If you have installed SQL Server as your database backend for SQL Server and find that License Tracker performance is very slow (takes a long time to switch between tabs) then setting the following options can improve performance:
- Show Sales Totals => false
- Maintain selection on Sort => false
- Load Child Records on Expand => true
- Filter Data Automatically => true
The last option automatically displays a dialog to allow you to filter the data that will be displayed in the License Tracker Customer, Sales and License Keys tabs before they are displayed. This can greatly improve performance by reducing the amount of data that needs to be transmitted from the SQL server to the application.
If the performance is still is very slow then you may need to enable TCP/IP protocol for SQL Server using Sql Server Configuration Manager. Some customers have reported that enabling TCPIP protocol can have dramatic improvements on the speed of the SQL Database.
See the following thread for more detail:

You should also ensure you are running the latest version of ILS. There were significant improvements to performance when using SQL Server in version 5.11.0 _________________ Infralution Support |
