Hello,
Are there any known issues with VS 2010 and .Net Framework 4? I'm upgrading my current project soon.
Same question for ILS if you don't mind me asking here. _________________ Regards,

For Globalizer you should download the latest version (2.2). This release included several fixes for issues related to VS2010 and .NET 4. The main issue is that .NET Framework 4 assemblies are incompatible with (ie cannot be used by) applications running against .NET 2 or .NET 3. This means that for Globalizer.NET to be able to preview and build .NET 4 assemblies it must be run using .NET 4. There is new option in the Tools->Options dialog that allows you to select the .NET Framework that Globalizer.NET should use. If you try to build or preview an workspace using the wrong framework you will get an error message prompting you to change this option.
For ILS you should download version 4.7 which is now fully compatible with VS2010. The application code and DLLs from previous versions will work without any problems under VS2010 and .NET 4, however the online help and local authentication server menu only worked if VS2005 or VS2008 were installed. _________________ Infralution Support |
