I am evaluating Globalizer, and so far I am very happy with it. I may have done something wrong, but the application (XAML) is written in English, which is the invariant language, but my machine is setup in french, as this is where I live and how my keyboard is set. My problem is that now I see only the french translation, to demo that it works I would like to be able to switch at will to english, but so far, running my application through Globalizer, Target, Start Application bring it systematically in french! What should I need to check? To go a little further, I added US English as language, I see all my resx files properly, but that did not help, the application shows french only!

Thanks for any pointer.

Are you running Windows 7 by any chance? We have recently discovered an issue, only affecting Windows 7, that means that the Start Application menu function doesn't set the computer user locale to the selected language. This will be fixed in the next release - due shortly. In the meantime you can use the Control Panel "Region and Language" settings to set the Format to the required culture before you run the application. Alternatively you can add a menu to your application (as shown in the samples) that lets the user dynamically select the language.

Version 2.2.0 of Globalizer.NET has just been released and fixes the issue under Windows 7 with setting the user locale to the selected language when running the application from Globalizer.NET
