Any chance that Globalizer.Net could be made to work with DotNetNuke. Has anyone already tried this? The DNN community is screaming for proper localization tools. _________________ Regards,

I have just downloaded DNN to check on this. Since DNN appears to already be setup to get localizable resources from resx files Globalizer.NET can happily scan and localize these.
One thing I did discover is that the DNN solution (.sln) file is somewhat unusual and results in an error if you use the Globalizer.NET Target->Add Solution menu. Instead just add the Website target (using Target->Add ASP.NET Website) and project files individually. We will take a look what is causing the Solution File problem for the next Globalizer.NET release.
Preview of DNN pages did not appear to work. This may because I haven't fully installed the required database files. _________________ Infralution Support |
