Hi,

Quick question, I've added a custom header menu but would like to be able to customise its entries depending on which column is clicked. Which event should i handle & how can i work out which column is being clicked?

Thanks

David

P>S> this is now the third large project i've used Virtual Tree on - its always worked wonderfully - great work Smile

You can handle the Opening event for your custom header menu and then check the the ContextMenuColumn property of VirtualTree - this gives the column that the menu was opened for.

Alternatively, if you are deriving from VirtualTree, you can override the ShowHeaderContext(Column) method and (after calling the base method) update your custom menu there.

Thanks for the positive feedback.
