|
|
I created a new SQL Server database on my web hosting service (GoDaddy) for the authentication service.
When I run the Install.aspx and select SQL Server as the database, it asks for the server name and the database name, but not a password (a password is required for SQL Server databases).
I've tried using various permutations on the connect string in the database name text box, but I always get an error message that says it can't connect to the database.
How do I provide the connection string information that install.aspx needs to connect and to update the web.config file? |

If you untick the "Integrated Security" check box then you can enter both a user name and password. "Integrated Security" uses Windows Credentials to logon to SQL Server. If you have not setup SQL Server to support Windows Authentication or if your server is hosted then you need to untick this option and specific the username/password _________________ Infralution Support |
