The first time I tried to add a cell editor to a version 4.8.4 virtual tree with defined columns but no editors I get the dropdown box in the 'New Cell Editor' dialog with the default selection 'Infralution.Controls.UniversalEditBox'. As soon as I click to open the dropdown or press F4 so as to select a System.Windows.Forms.CheckBox, Visual Studio 2010 breaks and stops working with the message: 'Microsoft Visual Studio has encountered a problem and needs to close'. I never get to see the long list of available controls. I've tried with other vTrees in the same project with the same result. It did work correctly with a new vTree in a new project. For now I'm adding controls programmatically successfully in the forms Load Event.
Any suggestions? Using VS2010 in Windows 8.1 with vTree 4.8.4 Thanks. _________________ Medical billing & records developer. |

I can't replicate this in the sample projects. If you can replicate this in a small self contained project then we'd be happy to take a look. In the meantime, instead of using the drop down you can instead type the fully qualified name of the control you want to use directly into the box. This will probably avoid the problem. _________________ Infralution Support |
