Using 5.10.1 - When I imported sales from file for an existing customer, a second customer by the same name was generated and the keys appear under that second customer instead of the existing customer. When I looked at the import data, I noticed the customer had left out a character on his email address, didn't specify his salutation, and put his country as US instead of USA. I've corrected these items in the import data, but don't want to try re-import the keys until I understand what the best procedure is to move the keys from the newly created second same name customer to the existing customer who has the product's previous sales keys and then purge the newly created customer from the data base. I'm using authenticated keys and am not sure if this problem has ramifications for the server's database as well. Please help. Thanks - Bob |

When importing customers are uniquely identified by their email address. If this is different then a new customer will be created as in your case. Rather than changing the import file and reimporting the simplest solution is probably just to open the sale dialog and change the customer that the sale is associated with to the correct customer _________________ Infralution Support |

Thanks - I didn't realize 5.10.1 had the capability to change sales from one customer to another. Your solution worked perfectly. Appreciate the help. - Bob |
