|

I have a Globalizer workspace for a WPF application that had seven languages included (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish). I was able to load any of the corresponding solution's XAML files into the Visual Studio XAML designer and change the design-time language without a problem.
Today I added four more languages (Arabic, Chinese-PRC, Japanese, and Korean). Now Visual Studio crashes whenever I try to load any XAML file (even in solutions that don't have anything to do with localization or Globalizer).
Any idea what could be wrong? This project is basically dead in the water until this is resolved.
Thanks,
Chris

Globalizer only changes the XAML and adds resx resources to the project file. It does not do anything to your Visual Studio installation. If Visual Studio is getting errors opening XAML files that have not localized by Globalizer then it indicates the problem is with Visual Studio and not related. One way to confirm this may be to create a new XAML project and test it. If this is not working then it is definitely a Visual Studio installation problem. _________________ Infralution Support |

It sounds like it's a coincidence that I started getting the crash only after adding the languages.
I had installed a couple of Windows updates at approximately the same time, so I'll look there next.
Thanks,
