|
|
The help documantation specifies the following variables are available in the customer email:
[item_name] - name of the item being purchased
[first_name] - first name of the customer
[last_name] - last name of the customer
[keys] - license keys issued for this purchase item
[download_location] - download location for this purchase item
[download_password] - download password for this purchase item
Are there any other available? Specifically the PayPal payment variables so that I can show a basic receipt, or at least the paypal transaction ID? _________________ Multi-Browser Viewer - Cross Browser Automation Testing |

No these are currently the only variables. But we will take this as a feature request and look at adding additional variables. Can you tell us specifically which ones you are interested in. _________________ Infralution Support |

Thank you for the prompt reply as always
We would love to be able to have the following available:
All the PayPal variables posted in the payment transaction that way we can build a custom receipt.
The folowing would probably be the most important PayPal variables (* denotes most important for us):
mc_gross
protection_eligibility
address_status
item_number1
payer_id
tax
address_street*
payment_date*
payment_status
charset
address_zip*
mc_shipping
mc_handling
first_name
mc_fee
address_country_code*
address_name
notify_version
custom*
payer_status
business*
address_country*
num_cart_items*
mc_handling1
address_city
verify_sign
payer_email*
mc_shipping1
tax1
btn_id1
txn_id *
payment_type
last_name
address_state*
item_name1
receiver_email
payment_fee
quantity1
receiver_id
txn_type
mc_gross_1*
mc_currency*
residence_country*
transaction_subject
payment_gross *
So for us the most important would be the PayPal Payment reference or ID, amount, custom field and adress details. _________________ Multi-Browser Viewer - Cross Browser Automation Testing |

Version 3.6 of IPN.NET and Version 5.8 of ILS have just been released. Version 3.6 now supports using any paypal variable in the email templates by enclosing it in square brackets eg [address_street] _________________ Infralution Support |
