Is it currently possible or in future planning to allow single or multiple feature activation after initial product purchase without issuing a new license key?
With my next version I will be selling a base product, and have multiple add-on packs available for purchase, and a new key would not work since the system would not know what other packs they have purchased and to create every possible combination of packs would be insanely difficult since there will be a dozen or more and growing in number over time.
For instance.
March 2013 - Base program - buy license key
April 2013 - buy add-on pack 1 - activate without changing key
May 2013 - buy add-on pack 2 - activate without changing key
Thanks! |

You can already achieve this in version 5 using authentication data. You can encode your features into the authentication data and use the License Tracker Set Authentication Data function to update it. You can also create a Custom Generator to provide a custom user interface and generate the authentication data string for you.
In your application you can call the LicenseProvider.Reauthenticate method to get the updated license. _________________ Infralution Support |
