When using a Custom Generated Key I am receiving this error when attempting to authenticate a generated key. I do not get this error when authenticating the a NON custom generated key as used in the sample application.
...
Error: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> System.Argument.Exception: Test Custom Generator is not a valid Product name
at
AuthenticationServer.AuthenticationService.GetProdcut(Database database, String productName)
at
AuthenticationServer.AuthenticationService.Authenticate(String productName, String sessionKey, Byte[] encryptedArgs)
...
The product is in the SQL database and the Authentication Service is running.
Am I missing something or is this a known bug when attempting to validate using a Custom Generated Key? Is there a known workaround? |

The most likely cause of this error is if you have created a product called "Test Custom Generator" but you haven't used the Authentication->Configure Server menu to upload the new product to the authentication server - so it doesn't know about the product. _________________ Infralution Support |
