We have been distributing your product in our application for a long time with no issues. We have one customer who has recently reported the following error: "The application was created using an unlicensed evaluation version of Infralution Virtual Tree". This is on an XP SP3 environment.
We have checked the installation and everything seems fine. Do you have any experiences with what could cause this issue on this one machine? Is there other applications that might interfere with your licensing mechanism? _________________ Ray Higgins |

What version of Virtual Tree are you using?
Is the application a standard windows forms application or some form of plugin?
Does the same application run on other clean machines?
There was an issue fixed in Version 3.5.7 that affected validation of the license on some machines. _________________ Infralution Support |

Thanks for the prompt reply. We are on version 3.12.1
This is a windows application. We have hundreds of this application deployed without any problems. So there seems to be something particular about this environment. .NET was reinstalled as well. _________________ Ray Higgins |

One thing you could try is installing an evaluation version of Virtual Tree on their machine and then run the the Simple Tree sample. This should tell us whether there is a problem specific to your application or license or if the problem is more general on their machine. _________________ Infralution Support |
