Version 5.3 has now been released and includes the FirstAuthenticationDate option. You need to select this option in the Product dialog and then configure the Authentication Service. _________________ Infralution Support |

Just updated to the latest version. Nice to be able to change the AuthenticationData too.
What's your recommendation for the best place to put the NumberOfDays property: AuthenticationData, ProductInfo or hard coded in app? |

There are pros and cons for each.
Hardcoded - easy to implement - but you can't issue keys with different durations or change an existing key
ProductInfo - you can issue keys with different durations but you can't change it once it has been issued. Unlike AuthenticationData you don't have to upload the data to the authentication server when generating keys.
AuthenticationData - most flexibility. You could change the duration after the key has been issued (for instance to extend someones subscription). Although the customer would have to reinstall the key to download the changed data. _________________ Infralution Support |

Thanks.
AuthenticationData sounds like the way to go. |
