Hi.
Caused by your validation rule "Match New Lines" I noticed that some of my strings using \n as new line character and are not displayed properly in the edit textbox. I guess the source for the mess with the line breaks in my resources is reshaper however it would be fine if you can display them properly in the textbox as my translators have missed the new lines a lot.
Btw v3 rocks.
Kind regards,

Do you mean the new lines are not displayed correctly (or at all) in the Edit Window? Or do you mean if you edit the translation in the translation window grid? Or both?
It sounds like it might be an issue of using \n only not \r\n which is the standard line termination on windows. I think that the standard text box does not recognise \n byitself. If you could maybe email support@infralution.com the Workspace and highlight the problem translation we could confirm that is the problem. One solution might be to provide a function to convert non-standard line endings (like Visual Studio does when it detects this). Actually you could probably write a validation rule to check this _________________ Infralution Support |

Hi,
sorry I was on holiday. Totaly forgot about this post.
Yes I think its based on a line ending problem. I know that windows controls often like \r\n only. The rule "Match New Lines" alterted me so I guess this is a small confirmation^^
I will see that I send you a translationfile.
Some function to fix this would be really nice.
Kind regards,
