|
|
Hi,
On my Windows 7 system with the Developer edition the Preview Window works fine.
I tried the free translater edition on a Windows XP system and while building resources and running the deployment target works fine i get an exception in the preview window.
Unfortunally the exception text in the preview window is not selectable. It is an Exception: NotSupportedException deep inside the System.Resources.ResourceManager. I hope you can reproduce the problem.
Then I installed the free translator edition paralell to the developer edition on my W7 64bit box and it works fine there. So it probably is a Windows XP specific problem.
Regards,
Gunter |

What version of Globalizer.NET are you using?
Can you maybe take a screen snapshot and email it to support@infralution.com?
I don't think the issue is with the preview mechanism itself - since this is tested on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. It is more likely that the problem is related to the actual form/control being previewed.
Can you run the actual application and display that window on the XP system without issues?
Is the window being previewed a standard windows form/control or a WPF window?
Have you set the .NET Framework that Globalizer.NET is using (under Options) to the version required by your application? _________________ Infralution Support |

Strange,
When i now started the Globalizer again on my Windows XP system and tried to preview my dialogs it suddenly worked, no exceptions anymore.
I'll get back to you if it happens again and i can reproduce the problem.
