It seems that the expansion indicator is always shown vertically centered, whether I set RowStyle.VertAlignment to Center or Near. And I've tried using RowStyle on the tree and on the rowbinding, but it makes no difference. Is this intended? |

This was intentional. The RowStyle alignment was originally only intended to affect text. We could change this to also affect the location of the expansion indicator (probably only the vertical). The problem is that you typically want text to have near vertical alignment and the expansion indicator to be centred. We may need a separate property for the expansion indicator alignment if you want to be able to control that separately. Will we add this to our feature request list? _________________ Infralution Support |

That would be nice
The thing is, when a cell in a row contains a lot of text, and hence the row is rather high (using AutoFitHeight), then it looks odd with the expansion indicator centered, especially if the main (left-most) cell only contains one line which is vertically aligned to top. And this is the case most of the time in my project
Horizontal alignment seems inappropriate - is there ever more space than needed for the expansion indicator? |
