Would be good if you could programatically remove a license authentication.

When the user installs their license key they authenticate against the licensing web server, would be useful to allow them to remove the authentication so they can move the license to another computer.

There is the funcationality to uninstall the license key from a machine but this leaves the authentication on the web server.

Photoshop works in this way and it's handy to be able to deactivate your product key and move it to another machine.

The reason we haven't implemented this is because it makes it very easy for a user to bypass your authentication. All they would have to do is to save their authenticated license file, uninstall the product (and remove the authentication from the server), then reinstall the software and restore their license file. They now can install the software on another machine in addition to the first. They can repeat that as many times as they want.

Even if we didn't allow for saving and restoring authenticated license files (which we think is a good feature for the end user because it means that they aren't reliant on an internet connection and your license server to be able to reinstall the product) the user could still effectively do the same thing by imaging their disk, uninstalling and then restoring back to the pre-uninstall state.
