I'm having an issue with a numeric up-down editor I'm using in my VT. When a user clicks in the QTY column, the numeric editor appears and allows the user to increase or decrease the value. At the top of my form, I have a save button. If the user clicks on the save button immediately after changing the values in the editor, the changes are not committed and the editor control is still visible.

If the user clicks somewhere else in the VT, the changes are committed - the editor field disappears and the new value is saved when the user clicks the "Saved" button.

I would like the behavior to be such that any time the user clicks away from the the editor control (i.e. loses focus), the change is committed and the editor field is hidden again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What version of Virtual Tree are you using?

I've just tried replicating your situation by modifying the Data Set Browser sample project from 3.13.0. I added a "save" button to the form as you described. Then I ran the project and expanded a customer and order row and clicked on the "Unit Price" column which uses a NumericUpDown editor. When I clicked on the "save" button the editor disappeared as expected and the changed value was committed.

This makes me think there must be something else going on in your case. If you can replicate the issue in a small sample project (or by modify one of our standard sample projects) then this would help us track the issue down. You can email zipped sample projects to support@infralution.com
