Hi,
I am currently evaluating globalizer.Net. I am having trouble starting the application. Every time I run it I get the following msg.
"E208: target application exe does not exist. check that the depoly directory has been set correctly,...."
I am having trouble understanding where to set the deploy directory. Our application have several projects GUI, ..... All of the executables resides in a bin directory and we are trying to translate the GUI project.
ie: Source\GUI
Source\bin\debug
Thanks. |

You normally set the Deploy directory for the whole Workspace - by selecting the Workspace and then the Properties tab. Set this to the directory that contains your executables when you have deployed them. This will enable a translator to run your application directly from Globalizer.NET.
If you haven't got up to the deployment phase yet in your project you can set the Deploy directory to the directory you normally run you application from while developing and then you can change it later.
You can also set the Deploy directory for individual projects within your workspace - this is recorded relative to the Workspace Deploy directory. This means if your application installs multiple executables in different directories you can handle this. _________________ Infralution Support |
