Hi;

To test deleting unused strings, I deleted a string from resources.resx in VS 2008, rescanned in Globalizer which said it was not used, deleted in Globalizer, and re-built in globalizer. The unused string is still in resources.de.resx.

??? - thanks - dave

Globalizer.NET does not re-create the language specific resx files each time you build. Instead it updates the existing entries in the language and adds new entries and leaves other entries untouched. This means that you can use the Visual Studio designer to edit the language specific layout settings for a form (by selecting the Language in the designer) and Globalizer.NET will not write over these settings when you do a build.

If you do want to reset the settings for a given language then you can just delete the language resx file and then use Globalizer.NET build to recreate it. We are considering the possibility of adding an option to do this from Globalizer.NET.
