Hi,

I have downloaded the evaluation versions of both Infralution Licensing System as well as IPN.NET in order to test them and see if they fit my software licensing needs.
I am using visual C# Express. ILS works, however after i downloaded IPN.NET and installed it, i tried to run IPN.NET in order to test the ability to generate license keys at point of sales, and received the following error message:
"The application for project C:\Program Files\Infralution\IPN.NET\INP\ is not installed. Make sure the application for the project type () is installed."
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, and it doesn’t work.

Can IPN.NET work only with a standard (or professional) editions of visual studio, or is there a way to make it work with C# 2005 Express?

Thanks!

To run the IPN.NET server on your local development machine you need to have a version of Visual Studio that includes ASP.NET development (which the Express versions don't). You could still use IPN.NET by deploying IPN.NET to your hosted website (see the section on "Deploying the IPN.NET Server"). This just means that you have to do all your initial testing running the server on your website (instead of on your local machine) - which is a little more inconvenient.

It also means that you won't be able to make changes to the IPN.NET source code that we supply when you purchase.
