Version 5 of ILS is compiled using Visual Studio 2008 and so requires a minimum of .NET 2.0 to be installed. The Version 5 Infralution.Licensing assembly therefore cannot be referenced by VS2003 projects - neither can the Version 5 source code be used directly in VS2003 projects.

You can, however, use ILS Version 5 to issue/manage license keys for applications that were written in VS2003 using earlier versions of the ILS source code. If you really need to write a new application using VS2003 then you can obtain source code for ILS Version 3 by contacting support@infralution.com. Note that Version 3 does not include support for the Authenticated Licensing mechanism.
