For Versions 3.5.0 and later the Microsoft Access license tracker database (license.mdb) is stored by default in a sub-directory under the common application data directory. For XP this is typically C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Infralution\ILS. For Vista/Windows 7 this is C:\ProgramData\Infralution\ILS. This allows the data to be shared and accessed by non-admin users. Note that the ProgramData and Application Data directories are by default hidden directories - so you either need to turn on the "Show hidden files, folders and drives" option in Windows Explorer or type the directory name directly into the Windows Explorer address bar.

For versions prior to 3.5.0 the default location of the License Tracker database was in the same directory as the License Tracker executable ie typically C:\Program Files\Infralution\Infralution Licensing System\LicenseTracker.

If you installed and used a version prior to 3.5.0 then License Tracker will still find and use your existing database (under Program Files). If you want you can move your existing database to the new default location.

In Version 4.6 and later you can specify the location of the License Tracker database by running the License Tracker Configuration Wizard. In earlier versions you had to edit the LicenseTracker.exe.config file to change the location of the License Tracker database.
