I removed version 3.0 using add/remove. Downloaded 3.4 and installed. Now project will not build. Message = " The type or namespace 'Controls' does not exist in the namespace 'Infralution' "
This message is repeated for each "Form Designer" generated entry. Any ideas?

Sometimes project references get messed up when you upgrade. Try removing the references to the Infralution DLLs and then readding them.

Do you mean I should delete the hundreds of code references to virtual tree, remove the virtual tree object from the form, then readd it?

No. I mean that you should locate the "References" node in the Solution Explorer Pane (in VB you have to select "Project->Show All Files" to see this node). Expand this and you will see the references to the Infralution DLLs. Select these reference nodes in the Solution Explorer and delete them. Then use the Add Reference to add them again. Your project should typically have references to the following:

Infralution.Common.dll
Infralution.Controls.dll
Infralution.VirtualTree.dll
