Unfortunately we don't have any ready written code like that (other than IPN.NET). However issuing the license key will be fairly trivial - simply call the EncryptedLicenseProvider.GenerateKey method. Your main learning curve will be getting the interface to the registration company right and learning how to host/deploy ASP.NET applications.
Maybe the registration companies will have some sample ASP.NET code to get you started? If you do develop something for one or more registration companies then I'm sure there may be other customers who would appreciate you posting any code. _________________ Infralution Support |

I'm so +1 on this topic.
Handango's Default Registration Logic is based on an RPN calculation of the user's device id.
Seriously, if you want to ad some major value to the product, it needs an example of an ASP.NET app that takes HTTP of a format you could make up, and sticks it into the database as a customer sale, and returns the key on an HTML page (including how to do it with a Custom Generator, if need be).
Anything more than that should be an exercise for the student. |
